The bags are packed and we are ready to depart. The suitcases ended up being only half-filled, as it would be foolish not to leave space for all the shopping that is about to be done.

Before departing, we made sure to get some beer and pizza from Åben in the airport. Can highly recommend (although the prices are expectedly steep).

and no sleep :’(

This airport is huge(!), lots of time can be spent windowshopping and getting lost. We preferred playing Mario Kart and making sure to catch the next plane on time.

WOOHOOOO!!! GREAT SUCCES. Finally time to get some sleep (one having more success than the other in achieving this).

After 19 hours, we made it to Incheon airport in South Korea. What we did not plan for, however, was the long wait for our luggage as seemingly all planes had to load their luggage on one belt…

A lovely gentleman (who we sadly did not get the name of) came to pick us up at the airport. He was very impressed by our level of korean (being able to say “thank you”).

The drive to the hotel from the airport was around an hour, which is not the worst, but feels like an eternity when sleep is but a fond memory :’(

Finally able to put down the bags and relax for a moment before heading out for some late dinner.

After walking around in the neighbourhood, we found a place called Thunder Chicken which we can highly recommend.

First meal in Seoul did not dissapoint; draught beer and bibimbap is a good combo!

First stop of the day: Kyunghee University Global Campus. Here, Melanie had the opportunity to train with their Taekwondo team, instructed by Min-Woo Jeon, the 7 time former head coach of South Korea’s national team.

Although the drive was around an hour long, and the fact that the communication with the driver was facilitated by Google Translate, we made it to the beatiful campus. Much different from ITU’s campus.

In the basement of this building, the Department of Physical Education, the dojang (training hall, for the uninitiated) is located.

As we arrived well over an hour early, we had some time to look around the building first.

It was a bit difficult to find, not being able to read korean did not help in the slightest, but we found it finally: Taebaek Dojang.

Throughout the gym, accomplishments, trophies, and other artifacts to showcase the achievements of the team can be found.

Contrary to customs in Denmark, athletes do not wear a dobok while training, meaning that Melanie was the odd one out.

language barriers. Their english skills were almost non-existent, as were our korean skills, meaning that once again Google Translate came to the rescue (although “Wooow! Big eyes! Beatiful!” was uttered more than once). Nonetheless, people were extremely friendly and helpful!

Along with some of the atheletes on the team, Melanie got to practice a few poomsae and even got pointers on how to become even better.

Melanie definetly got an experience for a lifetime (as did I observing it). Fun fact: the ones in blue are athletes from Taipei University that coincedentally joined the training one the same day.

After a nice training session and several hours without food, we went to 7-11 and bought gimbap (total for two people was around 4000 KRW, which is around 20 DKK) that tasted absolutely delicious. Can highly recommend!

Walking around Dongdaemun, we found several malls, outlets and other stores to check out and shop a litte in. The place pictured here was DOOTA Mall, where we got custom Nike t-shirts made.

A nice market hosting everything from food, textile, kitchenware, specialty coffee and more. Can definitely recommend, especially for ones that want to try something a bit different from back home.

A lovely area where small traditional buildings (hanok’s) have been converted to restaurants, shops, and the likes. Very nice area to get a mix of modern and historic culture.

A local brewery serving a small selection of beers accompanied by food. Of course we had to try their specialty: Sesame Pizza (which we can, as almost everything else thus far, highly recommend).

At a quite (insta) famous place called Acorn Caricature, we got a caricature drawn of us on canvas. A great experience with an amazing result to follow (you’ll have to come visit us to see it though hehe).

This day was primarily spent in the Gangnam District. To go there, we took the metro which was a very pleasant experience: clean, easy to understand and very cheap.

Lots of different shops, flagship stores of different brands and a general metropolitan vibe. Not the most cultural though.

Some of the most tender chicken we’ve ever had in a burger. Comes highly recommended if yo need something quick and tasty (although Nicklas ended up getting hiccups from how spicy his was).

Navigating our way to the oasis in which Kukkiwon, the international headquarters of Taekwondo, is hidden.

Kukkiwon is located nicely in a forested area and contains a museum and a large training hall. A ‘pilgrimage’ that Melanie is very happy to now have made.

In the museum, there are memorabilia, artifacts and other forms of documentation of the entire history of Taekwondo.

Another item that has now been checked off the bucket list.

We were so lucky as to observe a part of the master certfication that was coincidentally ongoing while we were visiting.

Another item of the bucket list getting crossed off… or so we hoped. We went to the official Mooto store (one of the official brands for the suits used in Taekwondo named Dobok) in hopes of Melanie packing her suitcase to the brim. However, as fate would have it, they didn’t fit, which lead to some (very understandable) dissapointment.

We went to a special Starbucks to get some refreshments, Melanie getting a Matcha Latte (spelled Malcha in Korean) and I got a Cortado made on special beans. Overall, very nice!

Quite (insta) famous place in the more eastern part of Gangnam. Humongous place with a plethora of well-known brands. However, it is also confusing as all hell to find your way in.

Not going to see the Gangnam Style monument while being in the district, would have been comparable to a crime against humanity.

A very nice place, the table (as can be seen) was a bit too small though.

Today’s activites begin in the Hongdae District, an area that is well known for its youthful energy, booming nightlife and excentric shops.

refreshments are in order. Therefore, we made a stop to Starbucks to get our usual order: a matcha latte for Melanie and something with coffee in it for me.

Musinsa (and especially their own brand: Musinsa Standard) are great stores to find korean fashion. We found it best to describe them as a korean Uniqlo.

To say that we suffered from cuteness overload would be an understatement. There were around 30 different cats, with the one pictured here, Chircle (pronunced Circle), being our favourite. The place is called Roof Cat Me and is definitely worth a visit!

Walking through Hongdae, we found plenty of shops to look at.

Another (insta) famous store that is quite a unique experience to say the least. Quite varied selection in neatly sectioned shelves.

A local specialty, sugar glazed frozen strawberries were one of the things that Melanie had been searching for. She rates them a 8/10: “Did not expect them to be so cold, but did taste good”.

we also did a bit of cultural sightseeing. Going to Gyeokbokgung Palace was very much a sight to behold and gave a nice peek into the history of the country.

A lot of people choose to rent a traditional dress called a ‘Hanbok’. With one of these, you are also admitted to the palace free of charge (although you only save 3000 won per person doing so, many times less than renting one).

A nice well preserved area of Seoul with traditional Hanok buildings. However, if you only have time for one, we favoured Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, as there were more things to actually do there, with this being more of a residential area.

After getting breakfast and packing our things, we headed to the nearest metro station to go to Seoul station.

Deviating from her usual order, Melanie chose something other than a matcha latte (a shocker, I know).

To pass time, we ended up playing 500 in the Starbucks. A great way to pass time, but only if your opponent is not bragging winner or sore loser... :))) (Just kidding, she’s gotten better at winning and losing with grace since we first met).

The trains were comfortable and on time. DSB could learn a thing or two from KORAIL.

We made it to Singyeongju Station, now we just had to figure out how to get to the city center (spoiler alert: it was not the easiest of tasks xD).

Pictured the guesthouse we stayed at in Gyeongju, Soseoljae Hanok Stay Guesthouse, can be seen. The door on the left is the door to our room which is in a traditional style with beds that are no more than two sheet of paper thick (an exaggeration, but you get the point). Really nice experience that is quite different from the norm (at least in Denmark).

We stayed in a nice area with lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes.

THERE WERE CATS!!!

We went to a place called Geosong. As can be seen, we (and especially I) were excited to dig into some traditional korean short ribs (think spareribs, but make it korean and better).

We found a local gem called Bar Boon managed by the owner (pictured) Jay. Here we got extremely good cocktails using local spirits, liqueurs and ingredients to make things that you don’t get at your run-of-the-mill bar back home.

As some might know, my favourite Scottish whisky distillery is Highland Park. Some time ago, they created a special run called Seoul Edition 1, which is limited to 590 bottles (i.e. it’s rare). Although it came with a hefty price tag (43.000 KRW for 2 cl), I had to try it (although it took some convincing from Melanie). It was well worth the money!

Both mornings at the guesthouse were accompanied by pumpkin rice porridge (not to Melanie’s liking) and a ciabatta-thingy. Overall, quite ok, but there were no options for this breakfast and coffee was not included :'(

Although only a short stop, we decided to pop into this market to get a feel for the more local-oriented areas. However, it was a short stop as it did not take long to see that we are not the target audience.

Quite a walk from our guesthouse, we found out that there was a cafe caled 'Tak!', which we of course had to visit.

Here, you can get plenty of danish classics (kardemomme snurre, rugbrød, etc.) and great coffee to boot; what is not to like?

Although there are loads of shops, it’s clear to see that this area is targeted towards tourists, i.e. there are an extreme amount of ‘go take a selfie with a funny hat’-shops and hand/tarot card reading-shops, but not clothes-shopping-shops.

When walking around, it is nearly impossible to miss these odd looking hills. These are in fact all burial mounds (at least as far as we have been able to figure). Some of them even have entrances or smaller exhibitions attached.

Most of the areas around these burial mounds have been preserved and turned into many smaller parks. Very nice for a leisurely stroll.

All over town, there are old hanok that have been turned into shops, cafes and restaurants.

We went to a ramen place called Ryusenso we spotted the day before to fill up on sustenance.

As expected, we stoppedby one of the beatiful cafes, Skunkworks, to get a cup coffee. It was not the best, but the place itself was stunning.

On almost every street, there are at least one place renting golf carts, scooters and the like.

We went to a place called Danhyanghoe and tried these meat rolls that were filled with spring onion (we think?) and had to be cooked by oneself (which proved difficult as the meat was quite thin and they were adamant that it shouldn’t get too long). All in all, this was ok, but definitely among the worse food-experiences on the trip.

This place was quite nice during the evening, but we imagine it must have been even better during the day as all the shops would have been open then. Definitely recommend checking this out both during the day and at night.

Cheomsongdae Observatory might not look impressive, or at least we did not find it to be, but considering that is has been standing for around 1300 years(!).

After getting out in the pouring rain (and Melanie not getting a lick of sleep due to the thunderous weather), we needed some coffee before embarking on the next leg of this journey.

Once again, KORAIL delivers a nice and pleasant journey. Heavily reccomended!

The view here is just outside the train station and is vastly different from something you’d see in Denmark.

The city is quite wide-spread, therefore we decided to focus our efforts on a small corner of a single neighbourhood for our first day.

A place called LOTTE Department Store Gwangbok. In general, a very nice mall that can be reccomended. Owned and operated by the same company that have the worlds largest mall (on the other end of town).

Going up to the 13th floor allows for some incredible views over the city! Although it was quite foggy, we very much enjoyed it.

It’s a wild place indeed…

As is tradition for my (Nicklas’) family, we had to try the local TGI Fridays. Here, things are bit different: First, the view is insane, with the restaurant being located on the 10th floor; Second, the food was served by a robot.

both figuratively and litterally. Melanie was feeling quite sick and the weather was horrendous (‘four-public-warnings-issued’ kind of horrendous).

Once again, I got a coffee hehe.

Unbeknownst to us (the name was only in korean on Google Maps), the cafe we were going to was the one located quite far up this mountain-side. Not exactly something the sick one was happy with…

What a view! This place is called Avenir and is a cafe and bakery that has a wide variety of delicious pastries and four floors of views (and even a rooftop).

We can definitely reccomend this place to anyone visiting Busan, just be wary of the journey up there.

A nice street with many well-known shops, and smaller ones that are not the most well-known.

This sleepy little fella, aptly named ‘put-pingvinen’, joined our travels as the newest member of the crew.

This right here, is one happy nugget.

As everyone knows, caramel popcorn hats are the hottest thing since sliced bread.

Bags are packed and we’re headed for the port to catch our ferry… or rather to find a good a way to waste time before heading there later on.

Breakfast at this hotel was not the best (read: horrible), thus we went for Dunkin Donuts.

To ensure we were never too far away, we went to see some of the local area before leaving.

OMG YES!!! THIS WAS SO NEEDED!!!

Her first proper asian foot massage, Melanie was a very big fan.

Of course Melanie had to get one last Matcha before leaving this beautiful country.

Okay port, a few conveniene stores and ample place. Nice duty free shop, but not the biggest.

Genius idea to bring this little fella along with us!

A small cabin with bunkbeds. Quite a nice boat in general with karaoke rooms, public baths and even a very small arcade.

As can be seen in the picture, this port is quite commercial in its general clientele, but nonetheless a fine port for regular travel as well.

After getting through immigration, our sweet guide picked us up and showed us to the station. Here, she also helped activate our JR Rail Pass’es, which was a very nice help.

Or a bullet train in english. These trains are very comfortable, clean and fast(!). Can definitely recommend travelling using them!!

and Melanie got to put in the first eki (train station) stamps in the stamp book. Something she was indeed very(!) happy about.

Therefore we went and got some Udon (thick noodles ala ramen) and Karaage (fried chicken) at Yamato Seimen. Was very nice… but I did forget my bag and had to run back to get it :’(

Big oops.

as the saying goes: one big oops seldom comes alone (or something along those lines); I had forgotten to update the hotel in my Google Maps after they changed it and therefore walked past our hotel by around 1 kilometer… :’( !

And I ended up buying the best cover ever (source: my own research). Woohoo!

To our big dismay, Melanie tested positive for Covid-19… Therefore, the doctor prescribed her a very extensive set of medication that she had to take for the following week. Oh well, then we got try the Japanese healthcare system :)))

After Melanie had drugged herself, we went out to see a bit of Hiroshima. First point being the Genbaku dome (A-bomb dome) located near our hotel.

To help alleviate Melanie’s illness, we went ahead and got some Italian food at Caffè Ponte. Was quite nice, with a view over the river.

Or at least we saw all the monuments outside in the beautiful night time.

EAT ICE CREAM! The supermarkets have a lot of different (and cheap) ice creams. Yes, Melanie has nearly tried every single one of them. The mango one is especially high up on the list of favourites.

Taito Station is a chain of japanese arcades that can be found all over Japan. They all have multiple floors with claw machines, arcade games, photo booths and more. Quite a nice thing to at least try once.

If going to Miyajima Island when visiting Hiroshima, then the One Day Streetcar & Ferry Pass is easily one of the easiest and most convenient ways of doing so!

Using the aforementioned pass, we took a streetcar all the way Miyajimaguchi to take the ferry to the island.

The well known toy Kendama (in its modern form) originates from Hatsukaichi in the Hiroshima Prefecture, thus an ample variety of models were available for purchase.

With the pass, it was a breeze to get on the ferry as all we had to do was show it.

As the island is very popular, it's a good idea to come early.

One of the most famous things about the island is the Sika deer that inhabit it.

They will gladly come up and say hi.

as long as you have food, otherwise they lose interest quite quickly.

Along with the hundreds of other tourists...

Definitely one of the main reasons why the island is a as popular as it is.

if the tides are low enough, which happens twice daily. However, the day we went there, it was at eight in the morning and evening.

We went to a local coffee shop where Melanie got a matcha and vanilla ice cream, which was amazing!

A nice summery ale at the local Miyajima Brewery.

Went to a store on the most well-known shopping street on the island, that had a huge(!) selection of chopsticks. These ones we had custom engraved with our names and their phonetic spellings in japanese.

We got a light lunch, being an Okonomiyaki with a quail egg sunny side up on top. Was delicious!

Melanie found the ice cream to be so good that she had to get a second one. This time, I tried the coffee and vanilla one, which was also quite good.

Once again, taking the streetcar to get back to the citycenter.

The place pictured here is called Omotegomon and is the main gate before entering the castle grounds.

but we got there just a tad bit too late to actually see it inside. Oh well, something we can do the next time.

We paid around 100 DKK for this food (including the dessert that is not pictured here). Was very nice!

The medicine had begun helping at this point, slowly but surely, and we were now going to Kyoto.

Which was, once again, a highly recommendable experience.

Wish these were more common at home :'(. A nice and delicious alternative to western salads and sandwhiches.

Finally arrived at Kyoto Station #woohoo.

It was quite humid, so we thought it would be best to have a small pitstop on the way to our hotel.

Even I had to try matcha at least once on this trip. It was ok, not as "grassy" as the regular kind in Denmark.

It was an amazing feeling being able to unpack a bit more that unusal, as we had three full days here.

Nintendo Store Kyoto is located on the 7th floor of Takashimaya, a department store with a great variety of things. The store was packed(!), but nonetheless nice to experience.

The Disney Store was an absolute must visit for Melanie. Safe to say, she was one happy nugget.

Afterwards, we went back to Takashiyama to do a bit of window shopping. Ultimately, the only thing I ended up buying was a Kendama.

We went to a small place called No-No-No where we tried Wagyu beef and Yakisoba noodles as part of an Okonomiyaki.

She found matcha-chocolate-covered strawberries. She found them to be quite good, but quite expensive (nearly 50 DKK for that glass).

First stop of the day: The Gion District.

The lanterns that can be seen hanging in the top of the picture are decorations put up for the annually held Gion Matsuri (Gion Festival).

On the way to the temples in the Gion District, we found a shop on one of the main streets that sold fans in all varieties. Melanie ended up buying one for her mum and got it custom engraved.

Pictured here is Yasaka Shrine, which is located in a beatiful and nature-filled part of Gion. Comes highly recommended, especially if going in the festival season (around July for this area).

We found a small, albeit nice, place called Kyoto Gion Saryo. Good food and nice drinks, what more could you ask for?

One of the things that is very characteristic of Japan is their love for good specialty coffee. This means that there are several chains and smaller stores that carry and roast beans in house. This one is part of a franchise called % ARABICA.

In the same way that tourists rent hanbok in South Korea, tourists rent yukata, kimono and haori to wear around this historic district.

Therefore, we decided to seek refuge in the well known Starbucks in the area, with its unique (and dark) interior.

In a shop called Glänta, we had a set of rings made (not that type...). You can choose from a plethora of designs and they make it in front of you. Highly recommendable as it is a unique experience and quite cheap!

Run by a sweet old couple, Ujicha Kigetsudo is a traditional matcha store selling primarily Uji matcha (aka the good stuff).

We found a great place in an alley called Torisei Shijo Kiyamachi, where we got to try a variety of traditional skewers. We even tried liver and heart (with one being more okay with this than the other).

The destination of the day: Fushimi Inari. Well known for it's thousand torii gates and plethora of shrines.

or rather arrived at the beginning. The walk all the way to the top is quite arduous, especially in this heat :)))

As can be seen, we were not the only ones to get the idea of venturing up the mountain.

Among other things, the deity worshipped at this mountain is the deity of foxes. This is apparent from all the fox amulets and statues all the way up and down the mountain.

As is evident, not many people dared to venture all the way up in the heat.

Although it's difficult to see, I was absolutely drenched in sweat at this point. Luckily all the sweating meant that we didn't need any toilet breaks (which is lucky, as there are no toilets on this mountain due to its status of being holy).

Napping away on the green tarp is one of the many cats we saw on part of the mountain.

Had a really nice Banh Mi for lunch at Vermillion Cafe.

Eirakuya is a family-driven textile shop from 1615(!) which specialises in decorative hand towels(!). Quite cheap and memorable souvenir/decoration. Highly recommended!

Out of respect, I decided to not obstruct her and shoot after she had walked past.

We found a cute foreigner-targeted sushi restaurant on Pontocho street, well known for its many restaurants.

Only eight seats, and with the only other people in there being the bartender and the owner, it was quite a unique experience.

A very kind man indeed :)

It was quite nice playing Mario Kart using Augmented Reality technology. Definitely worth the wait (which can be shortened by using the single rider lines).

First step: taking the metro to Kyoto Station.

Woohoo! Thankfully, Mt. Fuji was (somewhat) visible from the shinkansen we took from Kyoto to Tokyo.

Wasn't the best, but was definitely just what we needed!

Being the same chain as the hotel in Kyoto, this hotel was splattered with comics all over the floors and walls. Especially our room's theme was to our taste hehe.

As can be seen in the background, our next stop of the day was Tokyo Tower, which was thankfully only a short walk away from the hotel.

This ramen place was in the food court of Tokyo Tower and was quite weird... They only served beer or oolong tea, no water or soda xD.

We decided to only go to the main deck, which was without a doubt still great (and cheaper than going to the top one). Perfect timing, as we got to see the Tokyo skyline from just before to just after sundown.

There were several types of lighting and installations which made it a bit more of a memorable experience.

We decided to go to a small british pub on the way back to our hotel and got great, and cheap, yuzu gin tonics (around 20 DKK per drink).

Destination: Shibuya.

As you might can see in the background, was Shibuya Sky. Definitely a place that is worth seeing! We went during daytime, but we actually think that it would be even greater to see it during sunset.

The visibility when we went was amazing!

As a part of the traditional Tanabata festival, it was possible to hang one's wish up so that it would hopefully come to fruition.

Quite cool!

As the Fuji-guy I am, we of course had to go to one of the only official Fujifilm stores that are in Japan. Got myself a handmade Japanese leather strap for my X100VI (which I was absolutely stoked about).

As can be seen, people tried their best to keep in the shade, as it was simply TOO hot.

The crossing was okay, I guess? Interesting enough to see, but not really the most exciting experience.

As it can be seen, we were ecstatic to be in the primary shopping city of the trip (and one of the primary shopping districts at that).

Not that she ended up buying anything, as this one was VERY cramped.

One of the most widely assorted, insanely designed, and special stores with a cult following to boot, Don Quijote is something that we believe most people should try at least once.

A cheap and effective meal, what more can you ask for?

Being the music loving audiophile that he is, he was very appreciative that we did a round of private shopping at Tower Records, a record store with 7+ floors of all genres you can think of.

Destination: Ginza.

a stop at one of the places we were the most excited to go.

Woohoo! This place (and the others in the franchise) are absolutely recommended by us!

The whole place is an interactive art museum with installations that are very much out of the ordinary.

Although the visuals are very much key to the experiences, this is indeed a full-body experience. Pictured here, for example, you are submerged to around your knees in water. This means that you have to be barefoot for the whole thing, and preferably wear shorts.

These were hundreds of real plants hanging from the ceiling, going up the closer you came to them. Such a cool experience!

Glitch Coffee is a small chain of coffee roasters that have some very unique and top-shelf quality coffee. Definitely worth a visit, but be warned, the most expensive ones are around 200 to 250 DKK per cup (but most are substantially lower, but still not cheap), which was the one I had.

Went to the Uniqlo Flagship Store, which had a flower shop and a coffee shop in house. What an experience! There were definitely some savings to find here compared to back home, so this one comes highly recommended as well.

At a lovely small place called Ippudo, we tried some amazing ramen with a lot of customisation options (and ordering on tablets in english, which is a plus).

Thus, we had to get a bit of an untraditional brunch/lunch...

Which I suspect was the thing you were guessing? Either way, it was quite decent for what it was and where it came from.

The traditional district of Tokyo, with plenty of temples, shrines and local festivals.

A traditional Mokuhankan (Woodblock print) shop which I had been eyeing for the last year or so.

As can be seen, the block used for the printing are hand carved for the specific motif. The one we ended up buying was made using blocks from the 1930's that have been restored by hand.

This man in the orange traditional clothes (not sure if it is a kimono, haori or something entirely else), was part of the celebrations of a local festival and absolutely gave it his all!

Fuglen, a chain of coffee stores from Oslo, was quite a nice place where they served nordic style waffles and specialty coffee (and other beverages).

Packed with people and a nice experience overall.

Melanie, of course, got "The Best Fortune" and I got "The Bad Fortune"... :)))

A very modern neighbourhood which has tried to incorporate traditional elements in between the big skyscrapers. All in all, only worth it for the restaurant we went there to visit, otherwise easily a place we would skip another time.

Manten Sushi Nihonbashi, a omakase sushi place (i.e. where they make the food in front of you and the dishes are selected by the chef(s)). Extremely nice and different sushi compared to what we were used to from back home.

As our flight left in the late evening, we had to kill some time during the day.

Melanie got a nice matcha milkshake thingy, and I got a nice chocolate milkshake thingy from Tully's Coffee.

Got a pulled pork burger, but without BBQ sauce, which was definitely an experience.

We played some more 500 and relaxed before having to leave for the airport.

Narita Airport is quite a bit outside the center of Tokyo, which means that it also takes quite some time to get there (a few hours in our case).

I got to try a burger with teriyaki sauce, which was very nice! Melanie got nuggets as per her usual order.

I bought a special Royal Suntory Whisky and got a Sake from Kyoto from Melanie as a partial early birthday gift. Very nice!

and the game of 500 continued. Once again, Melanie ended up being the winner, final score: Melanie 2, Nicklas 0.

coupled with the fact that it was very cold in the airport meant that Melanie became quite sleepy.

Definitely the best of the two airlines we flew with! We figured out that you could order soda, beer, candy, and more for free via the screens (at any time).

After almost 24 hours including layovers, we arrived at home in Copenhagen.

Now, it was time for unpacking, washing clothes and in general just settling in to our usual surroundings once again.
